Petco Halloween 2012
Petco Halloween section should be your one stop shop for all your pets needs, we have reviewed some great items so far so here is a list of a few more items that can be found online or at your local Petco.
I am a HUGE Petco fan if you have followed my blog for some time. Petco stores nationwide hosted a Howl-O-ween Pet Costume Contest in their stores where if you brought your pet in a costume you had a chance to win Petco gift cards and prizes. There is still an online photo contest going on so make sure you stop and visit petco.com/Halloween to learn more about the online photo contest and a chance to win $5,000!!
Hound Girl is a dog only household but I do have several friends that are cat lovers and I wanted to make sure that any of our cat followers know that Petco Halloween section includes costumes for cats too! We were actually sent one to review but we donated it to my husbands co worker who has a cat and he was the only one willing to put a costume on his cat! They make this costume for dogs actually but with a jockey not a mouse riding the saddle - I always wanted one for Fred but couldn’t find one to fit his size! So if you have a cat you think would wear a costume head on over to Petco!
I was also sent a Powzer Flash ‘n Dash Ball – this was a great idea but was not a good fit for the Hound Girl homestead. The ball looks like a blast because it lights up but Haylie could crack this ball in a second even if I supervised her when she picked it up the first two times I thought she was going to crack it. I could also see a dog that light obsessed having a hard time not getting addicted to this ball. It was too small for Stella-Bob because I was afraid she would swallow it and then I was afraid Haylie would break it. I do think some cats may really like this ball or maybe a smaller dog that doesn’t have jaws of life would enjoy it.
The last Halloween item we were sent to review was the Glow N Go Collars and Leashes. We were sent a size that Haylie didn’t fit into so we were glad that Stella-Bob came to live with us because this is the perfect size for her in a few more months! So we were not able to accurately review this item but I can see how great this would be if you plan to take your dog trick-o-treating with you for Halloween! There is no way anyone could miss you and you dog walking at night with this on. This would come in handy for any dog owner that has to walk their dog at night and there are several times that here in Texas we have to walk late at night when its dark due to the heat in the summer.

Yeah… jaws of death here too. Surprisingly, they’re in the little mouth, but since she can somehow unhinge her jaw and carry a tennis ball… Hem.
Howdy All, yep we have jaws of death here too, especially me, Stella, believe it or not. I destroy everything! Love the glowing collar too. Thanks for sharing. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Delilah is light obsessed, she would lose it with a ball like that, plus like Haylie she also has very strong jaws.
I like the idea of the glow in the dark collar and leash, during the winter we do a lot of around the block walks. “-) Great review!!
I would kill that ball in an instant! BOL!
Lovies, Miss Mindy
Hound-bob!
Happy Howl-o-ween to all of yaz!
That’ll look great on Stella-bob
Will do a post on it if we get some down the road
That reflecto collar does look snazzy and I like the color – orange! my fav
You know you can get charms for Haylie’s collar that have led lights built in? Yap, Mom’s gonna be lookin into those for me – Mom thinks they might not be waterproof butt I could wear it on most days
Hope you have a fun filled day!
Waggin at ya,
Roo
