Hound Girl Is at BlogPaws 2012!!

I’m at BlogPaws!! BlogPaws 2012 is in Salt Lake City Utah this this year. I was lucky and able to get a room at the Sheraton where the conference is actually being held at.
I owe a HUGE THANK YOU to Petco who is sponsoring me to attending this event. It wouldn’t have been possible without the help of a special someone at BlogPaws who got me this great opportunity.
I wanted to personally thank all the Hound Girl readers who support this blog and continue to come back and keep up with the daily antics of my life living with dogs.
I like to think that this is another perfect way to carry on the legend and memories of Fred. Fred my bloodhound is why this blog was started; I needed a way to express my frustration, anger, sadness and joy about having him as a dog so I turned to the internet to share my story. I struggled after he passed away from canine epilepsy if I should continue Hound Girl or not and thank you to several close friends in the blogging community I decided to carry on.
I arrived here this afternoon and I am so excited! The lobby was full of bloggers and dogs. I checked in for the conference and got my awesome swag bag. I was also able to meet up with one of my dear friends from Doggies and Stuff. I’ve already ran into several bloggers which have blogs that I follow.
We were walking back from a late lunch and saw “Tillman’s” decked out RV pulling up. He is giving a demo in the parking lot this evening.
Blog Paws has a kickoff event this evening that I will be attending to get this conference started! I will keep everyone posted and I promise I will take lots of pictures!

So glad you are getting this awesome experience. Just a little jealous that I could not be there sipping drinks and visiting with you. As you know Fred had a very special place in my heart and we are so glad you continued to blog after he joined our Cleo at the bridge. It is always tough but I have found that the blogville community is an awesome support system.
Can’t wait to hear all the stories and see pictures.
