I was lucky to be able to review the Calming Collar recently.
I was so excited to give it a try on Haylie in hopes that it would reduce her anxiety when I have to leave her behind to go work with Fred on his pet therapy.

Calming Collars are based on aromatherapy and what’s great about them is they are hand made and all natural!
The calming collars can be used on a dog or cat to over some
stress and
anxiety and have a way to become naturally more relaxed.
Joe Bob and Sawyer Bob enjoying the scent of the collar
Some dogs might benefit from this collar if they have a fear of thunderstorms and bad weather, fireworks or other loud noises.
I know that even a trip to the vet or groomer can stress a dog out so this would be perfect for your dog to wear on the trip over to the vet to overcome
dog anxiety.
I loved that the collar was custom made for Haylie. We were able to pick out the color of fabric, width and then it was made to fit her neck. When I received the package the smell of the collar was amazing when I opened the bag. Haylie loved the smell of the collar and put it right on with no problems. I did use it on her several times while I left her at the house while Fred and I left and she actually seemed a bit more relaxed when I came home.
The true test of this collar was my parent’s wiener dog …. Joe Bob… He is 15 yrs old, almost deaf, arthritic…. The thing about Joe Bob is that he has whined with
anxiety since the first day we brought him home.
Joe bob has never stopped whining and being anxious!
Although the collar was too big we rubbed it on Joe Bob and also put the collar over by his bedding and it seemed to work quite well for him.
He was very interested in the scent of the herbs that were inside the collar.

This was a great product and a wonderful idea! I will continue to use the collar on Haylie and recommend anyone to use this product if they have an anxious dog!

OMG What a WONDERFUL IDEA!!!
I have two dogs that would both benefit. My boxer mix gets anxiety when my husband is outside and she cannot go with him and my hound gets anxiety when the neighbors are shooting their guns, or from fireworks, or storms or loud winds! I would LOVE to try this out.
What a wonderful thing… great item!
My only wish is that this calming collar could be used for humans because I could use a little bit of relief from anxiety too! Heehee!
Well, I only have one dog and she would appreciate it when it is windy out, especially! She would also look forward to the times when I vacuum the house because when that “mean machine” comes out, she runs for cover! Love your review idea and I hope I win…if not, I will buy one for Daisy asap.
These collars sound grrrreat to me. What dawg wouldn't like to be all relaxed and calm???
What an excellent idea! Wonder if it might help Gracie? She can't hear so good and whines when she's in a room by herself – guess 'cause she doesn't know where everybody is!
The Road Dogs
We have read a lot about these. I think Winston could really use one because he is like Bob, whines and paces all the time. Thanks for offering us a chance to win this awesome gift. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
I would give it to my cousin Dillon cause he has had a lot of trauma in his life and gets pretty anxious sometimes. I would hope it could help him feel a little better and not so scared.
I'd try it on Rudy – he sure needs to learn a little about “calm & relaxed”!
Rudy's Raiser
One of those collars might be very helpful for Phantom, who stresses for days before the arrival of thunderstorms. Thanks for the great review.

Gretchen!! My wee one and I have tried EVERYTHING known to man. A commercial flea-collar style calming collar worked best, albeit not long-term. We changed them more often than recommended, but I don't think it was quite the right combination of herbals/chemicals/something.
Poor Gretchen has travel anxiety in a serious way, but of course, still doesn't want to be left behind.
Trixie, definitely. Minnie makes her nervous. How cool is that collar!
Bella needs this collar! We really hope to win it and give it a try!
The rescue mom works with could really use one of these for some of their more anxious foster dogs! Sometimes they get really nervous at clinics and it makes them harder to be adopted. This is such an awesome give a way! Thank you, Kari!

That is a great idea. I'm afraid of fireworks and thunder storms. I have a super snooter, I wonder if sweet smelling herbs would work for me?
Wyatt
We would use it on Baily to stop her whining!

Don't enter me because we reviewed one already. I just wanted to let everyone know that this product is great. Millie is doing very well with it.

I would be thrilled to win this product, it has me very curious! I would use it for our Sheltie (Dakota) Anyone who knows Shelties knows that they can be extremely barky and are sometimes anxious. I would have him wear it to see if it helps with his barking and for when he goes insane when the chihuahua across the hall comes running towards our door.
I am also following you on GFC and through email!
My yorkie has always been an anxious dog, and has become even more so recently. He is very unhappy to be left home alone, and prefers my company the most. What an awesome idea this is! I am a follower!
As you are likely aware, our Xena suffers from doggie dementia…so we think perhaps a calming collar just might be a huge help! (along with her medication).
(((hugs)) your friends

I hadn't heard of these before, so thanks for the post.

That's SO super great! I dunno if we would get one of those for me or Brudder Ranger. For me, it would be because I get anxious in new places – specially new houses that I've never been in before. For Brudder Ranger, it would be because he gets pretty nervous when there's thunder or firecrackers. Hmmmmm…I'm thinkin' it might be best for Brudder Ranger.

This sounds like a great idea. It might help our Max who is blind and becoming terrified of everything and thus getting really snappy and hard to live with…
Ooh, that's a cool collar! Sounds like a a pretty neat product. Banjo would definitely use this when we put him in the car. He gets excited to the point that he gets whiny and anxious! Car rides should be fun!
Anyhow, Banjo & Millie have enjoyed reading your blog and would like to pass on to you the Stylish Blogger Award! Hop on over to Banjo and Millie to read more
Hi! Kelly would benefit from this collar because she hates to be left home alone. She also is anxious about other dogs. I'm wondering if she would rip it open and eat the herbs?
