Haylie’s Apple Cookies

Aug 7, 2010 by     5 Comments    Posted under: Dog Recipe, Dog Treats, Haylie
I modified this recipe to fit the needs of my dogs, it called for whole wheat flour but I used oat flour.

1 Minced apple-  make sure to core apple and take out the seeds

1/4 Cup of honey
1/2 Cup of water
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1 Cup of oats
1 1/2 Cup of oat flour
Cook on 300 degrees until nice and hard to make them crunchy.
Instead of mincing the apple I shredded it to make it easier for me.
All the ingredients are mixed together and ready to be baked
I added some cooking spray before putting them on the cookie sheet and on my hands – the dough was very sticky.  My cookies are also larger since I have two huge beasts.
I did flip them half way through to make sure they where nice and crunchy on each side
Nom..Nom.. Cookies!!
